History Group talks 2026/27
The History group is pleased to offer 6 talks over the coming autumn and winter. A mixture of firm favourites and new speakers, with hopefully something for everyone.
The format is happily (lazily?) unchanged, so it’s one Monday evening per month from October through to March, in the Village Hall with the bar opening from 7pm, and the talks starting at 730pm.
Our pricing is also unchanged, at £20 per person for the full season, or £5 per talk.

Monday 15th February – Andrew Negus with the last instalment on the history of Winchester
Monday 15th March – John McNaughton on the history of submarines
